eVanik OneWorld Suite

Tally Integration with Ecommerce Marketplaces | One-Click

Tally. ERP9 is one of the leading accounting ERPs in the country today. With over 1.5 Million users, this 30 years old company has helped millions of small and medium enterprises manage their accounting, inventory management, taxation, payroll etc.

A very large population of e-commerce sellers in India use Tally for their e-commerce business. There are several manual tools in the market through which sellers manually update their e-commerce transactions into Tally. Moreover, all of these tools require an external 3rd Party tool to be installed into Tally, which mostly can be used only with one single license of Tally. The key problems of these tools are:

  1. It requires to download excel or csv files from e-commerce marketplaces and then converting them to a standard format which is accepted for an upload into Tally.
  2. Since the nature of orders statuses and other metrics on e-commerce marketplaces is so dynamic, the downloaded excel sheets will always vary every time you download the same. For example: today an order will show in a “Shipped” status and we will enter that into a Sales voucher into Tally. However, after a few days, the status of the order could change to “Returned” , “Cancelled”, “Lost” etc. Now this will require cumbersome vlooksups and other formulae to filter these out manually and revise the entries into Tally.
  3. Payments and Receipts come in an aggregated manner for the various orders fulfilled by a seller. Similarly, the payment entries need to have all the order details and settling off against the sales or return vouchers to get an accuracy on order wise outstanding. This is mostly not available.
  4. Sales Returns need to be adjusted against the original sales. Again a major challenge in manual Tally imports.

Is there a solution? Well, yes ! Evanik OneWorld Suite has developed a proprietary tool which works through a chrome extension. All the metrics of marketplaces get into the eVanik OWS tool and get processed and sequenced through it’s powerful algorithms. After this, the chrome extension pushes data into the user’s Tally. ERP9 software. There are various advantages:

  1. Tally sync through eVanik works on a one-click. Absolutely no requirement of any downloads / uploads of excel and csv sheets
  2. There is no requirement to install any module into Tally and affect the speed and performance of Tally
  3. All dynamic statuses in the e-commerce panel get real time updated into eVanik OWS and thereby into the user’s Tally software
  4. Being a 5 Star Sales and Implementation partner of Tally Solutions, all the data which gets into Tally is GST compliant and with zero mismatches
  5. Returns and Payments get adjusted against individual order IDs
  6. Evanik provides a reconciliation dashboard and a detailed list of all the entries which have been imported or not imported in the user’s Tally software.
  7. Evanik takes care of syncing Sales (Orders) | Sales Returns | Payments | Marketplace Fee and Taxes into Tally.
  8. All ledgers, SKUs (Products) get automatically created in Tally
  9. And all of this takes just a few seconds.

How do I connect my Amazon Marketplace account to eVanik OWS?

To connect your Amazon Marketplace account to eVanik OWS, simply follow the steps below.

1.) First, go to http://developer.amazonservices.com and click the Sign up for MWSbutton.

2.) Now, login with your Amazon Seller Account.

3.) Now, choose “I want to give a developer access to my Amazon seller account with MWS” and input the following information in the appropriate fields:

  • Developer’s Name: eVanik OWS
  • Developer Account Number: 0607-3625-2833

4.) Click the Next button, accept the license agreement, and click the Next button again.

5.) Here, you’ll be presented with codes for your Seller ID and MWS Auth Token.

7.) Click on Connect a Store or Marketplace and select Amazon.com.

8.) Where it asks, paste the Amazon Seller ID and MWS Auth Token from your Amazon account into eVanik OWS, and click Verify Seller ID.

9.) Once that’s verified, choose an Amazon Marketplace if applicable, and also choose how you want to identify your products.

  • For India based Amazon Marketplace stores, you’ll select Amazon.in.
  • If you have multiple options in this menu, please note that each option requires its own setup process. Choose one option for now and complete the setup process. Then run through steps 1-10 again, choosing a different option for step 9.

10.) Click Connect and you’ll set up your Store information, Customer Communication preferences, product handling, and service mappings. Save Changes and your orders will begin to import!

That’s it! Your Amazon store is now set up in eVanik OWS!

What is an alias?

An alias is a way to have one SKU count as another SKU (for reporting and product settings purposes).

Some selling channels may not allow you to set up SKUs exactly the way you want. If you’re a multi-channel seller, this selling channel limitation could result in you having to keep track of different SKUs for what’s really the same product. Our Alias feature is designed to prevent this from happening!

Here’s a detailed example on how aliasing works. Let’s say that I’ve added an Amazon store which has SKU “Del-Burg”, but it really is the same product as existing SKU “00000” in eVanik OWS. Before any orders with SKU “Del-Burg” import from Amazon into eVanik OWS, I’ll add it as an alias to SKU “00000”.

Here’s an example of what that would look like if I’d gone to the Products tab, clicked on the record for SKU “00000” to open its Product Detail, then added “Del-Burg” under the Store Aliases tab:

Now that this alias is actively linking “Del-Burg” with “00000” in eVanik OWS, eVanik OWS will do the following:

  • Prevent a new product record for “Del-Burg” from being created in eVanik OWS.
  • Count any sales of “Del-Burg” as sales of “00000” instead for eVanik OWS reports.
  • Use the Product Detail settings for “00000” so that any SKU-specific overrides or shipping settings won’t need to be configured separately.

Please note that eVanik OWS won’t totally stop “Del-Burg” from appearing in eVanik OWS when ordered.

  • You’d see “Del-Burg” and the selling channel value for the name appear in the Order Details because eVanik OWS will not alter those selling channel values. Clicking on the “Product Detail” link would show that that the details for “00000” are indeed linked.
  • You’d see “Del-Burg” on pick lists unless you adjust a pick list option to see the linked SKU instead.
  • You’d see “Del-Burg” and the selling channel value for the name on packing slips, unless you make a couple changes to your packing slip’s HTML to see the linked SKU and the linked name instead.

Please note: It is also possible to import a product as an Alias via a product CSV import. This is only able to be manually configured.

What does eVanik’s Inventory Management solution offer?

eVanik’s Inventory Management solution has four main features:

  1. Track and manage your stock levels
The Products tab has an Inventory section— it’s an additional Products grid that lists out your stock levels. Set up your initial stock levels with a CSV import and eVanik OWS will deduct stock as you ship out your orders. Replenish your stock with a few clicks in the interface or with a CSV update.
  2. Alert you when your stock levels hit or fall below certain thresholds
Set account-wide or SKU-specific thresholds. When stock levels reach those amounts, the Inventory grid will show alert icons indicating that it’s time for you to reorder.
  3. Apply available stock to higher priority orders first
eVanik reserves available stock for your “Awaiting Shipment” orders using a process called Allocation. Adjust how the Allocation process works by defining your own Allocation Strategy to include tasks that match your fulfillment priorities.
  4. Prevent users from shipping ‘out-of-stock’ orders
It’s frustrating to create shipping labels for orders when you don’t have the stock to ship them out. Thanks to our Allocation process, it’s easy to tell if it’s okay to ship an order or if it isn’t. You can set eVanik to warn or block whenever there’s an attempt to ship an unallocated order.

If you’re looking to solve these problems, then our native Inventory Management solution is right for you!
